If Venancio Jago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the game, Luciano Fagondo lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Aureliano Gomez. Genaro Tximitx charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Genaro Tximitx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Angastaco FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Genaro Tximitx hit a great ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Esteban Isauro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Rosario's Joel Valiente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Angastaco FC booed when Atlético Rosario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilla Tarkan Ulgu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Valiente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Isauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Jacinto Gaueko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Gomez having to interfere. Angastaco FC's Aureliano Gomez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Angastaco FC from getting a goal against them. Josef Kopřiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Gomez having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Jacinto Gaueko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Rosario's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Gaueko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aureliano Gomez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atlético Rosario's Luciano Fagondo managed to work through Angastaco FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Luciano Fagondo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Luciano Fagondo had several of the Angastaco FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Aureliano Gomez as he didn't even see the shot coming. Luciano Fagondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 40 minutes, Luciano Fagondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Rosario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Fagondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Luciano Fagondo came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Atlético Rosario fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Fagondo couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
The wind increased when Esteban Isauro made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Kopřiva in the 57th minute of play forced Angastaco FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Gomez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Josef Kopřiva made a precise shot to the right of Aureliano Gomez. Angastaco FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esteban Isauro in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Valiente saved Atlético Rosario from getting behind. Angastaco FC's Aureliano Gomez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Gaueko in the 69th minute of play. Jacinto Gaueko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Jacinto Gaueko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Aureliano Gomez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th minute, Luciano Fagondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luciano Fagondo struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Aureliano Gomez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Rosario. In the 89th match minute, Angastaco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Oihan to maneuver through the defense. Teodosio Cheche's late challenge caught a Atlético Rosario's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodosio Cheche helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Angastaco FC's Teodosio Cheche got a free kick in the 90th minute. Aureliano Gomez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Gaueko in the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Luciano Fagondo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Aureliano Gomez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Atlético Rosario were the better team. Atlético Rosario's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
