Eugenio Mergildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Itzaina, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45thth minute of the game Atilano Firman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LOMA NEGRA DE OLAVARRIA's Eugenio Mergildo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atilano Firman to make the kick off. When Gaudencio Perrando, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 61 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Kris Jürisoo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Gaudencio Perrando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kris Jürisoo was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 70 minutes into the match, LOMA NEGRA DE OLAVARRIA's goalkeeper Eugenio Mergildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atilano Firman. Kris Jürisoo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Perrando in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. LOMA NEGRA DE OLAVARRIA had played much better football throughout.
