After some careless play in the LOMA NEGRA DE OLAVARRIA defense, Patrick Lidman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Mergildo. The LOMA NEGRA DE OLAVARRIA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Mergildo should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute of the match, Lino Guerrero got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eugenio Mergildo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 39 played minutes LOMA NEGRA DE OLAVARRIA got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Neto. 40 minutes into the match, Cobos's Ambrosio Fliz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugenio Mergildo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. LOMA NEGRA DE OLAVARRIA were furious when Silvestre Neto was red carded, 42 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 42 minutes into the game, one of LOMA NEGRA DE OLAVARRIA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lino Guerrero placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 47 minutes into the match, Lino Guerrero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eugenio Mergildo. LOMA NEGRA DE OLAVARRIA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lino Guerrero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Guerrero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Lidman in the 58th minute of play forced LOMA NEGRA DE OLAVARRIA's goalkeeper Eugenio Mergildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Mergildo came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Cobos's Lino Guerrero. But to his dismay, Lino Guerrero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 64th match minute, LOMA NEGRA DE OLAVARRIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Gora to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, LOMA NEGRA DE OLAVARRIA's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Lidman came free, but Eugenio Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Mergildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Lidman, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 74 minutes LOMA NEGRA DE OLAVARRIA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ambrosio Fliz who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Hugo Dodorol heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 77th match minute, LOMA NEGRA DE OLAVARRIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Lain to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, LOMA NEGRA DE OLAVARRIA's Edgardo Veremundo threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miguel Hernánde Véjar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 84th minute, Lorenzo Gustau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Mergildo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 92nd match minute, Cobos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Basualdo to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the LOMA NEGRA DE OLAVARRIA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cobos.
