In the 3rdth minute of the game Luisito Caradaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Cohólicos FC's Lucas Clementi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of VERΛ booed when Real Cohólicos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Cordarrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorenzo Louis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Clementi having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, VERΛ's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Arnas came free, but Delmar Bartoleme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Real Cohólicos FC's zone, Luisito Caradaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Clementi came out of the goal and Luisito Caradaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cayetano Lixandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Delmar Bartoleme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Clementi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Caradaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 minutes of play, VERΛ's Luisito Caradaro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Clementi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lorenzo Louis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Rosendo Bidun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmar Bartoleme was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Benigno Urritz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisito Caradaro in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Clementi saved Real Cohólicos FC from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luisito Caradaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Denis Gauargi kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Paulo Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. Delmar Bartoleme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Cohólicos FC. After 77 played minutes VERΛ got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Batista. After a defensive mix-up in Real Cohólicos FC's zone, Paulo Gonzalez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Clementi came out of the goal and Paulo Gonzalez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Carlos Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 83 in the game by Luisito Caradaro from a close distance when the talented Lucas Clementi managed to make a qualified save. Real Cohólicos FC's players were relieved.
