Gaston Boniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Tipal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Fertus came free, but Gaston Boniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nathanaël Goubert kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Ciriaco Vitin's late challenge caught a Tipal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciriaco Vitin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Rivotril F.C. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ciriaco Vitin hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Prego got free with Tobias Peruanton in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaston Boniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Txeru, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rivotril F.C.'s zone, Marek Kont stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Peruanton came out of the goal and Marek Kont tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Peruanton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruben Prego's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Rivotril F.C. booed when Tipal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Kont didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Serafin Txeru made a precise shot to the right of Gaston Boniel. Tipal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some careless play in the Tipal FC defense, Serafin Txeru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaston Boniel. The Tipal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaston Boniel should have stopped the shot. Teo Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Tobias Peruanton made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, Tipal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Gamza came free, but Gaston Boniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Rivotril F.C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruben Prego to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Melquiades Silbestre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Tipal FC's goalkeeper Gaston Boniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafin Txeru. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rivotril F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jairo Torres was slow to take the kick. During this time Tipal FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Jairo Torres almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rivotril F.C.'s Tobias Peruanton did a great save. Tobias Peruanton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Prego, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The audience was convinced that Ruben Prego's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Peruanton was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game.
