The Abasto FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Siro Venceslao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Laurgain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Abasto FC's Santos Laurgain sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Siro Venceslao narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 18th play minutes Santos Laurgain shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Siro Venceslao and just under the crossbar into goal. After 23 played minutes, Abasto FC's Reynaldo Dodorol shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Siro Venceslao came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Abasto FC reached it. After a rather tough play, Progresso's Zacarias Cordeiro got a free kick in the 24th minute. Santos Laurgain took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siro Venceslao. Siro Venceslao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Siro Venceslao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santos Laurgain went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Progresso's Ismael Ixona got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Santos Laurgain came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Abasto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Laurgain couldn't finish the play. Progresso's Siro Venceslao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Progresso from getting a goal against them. Aquilino Milio's late challenge caught a Progresso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquilino Milio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Progresso booed when Abasto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Milio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Progresso's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Santos Laurgain fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Abasto FC's zone, Santiago Illart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Nabar came out of the goal and Santiago Illart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the match, Progresso's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Johans came free, but Siro Venceslao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Ismael Ixona was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Progresso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abasto FC the free kick. After 73 played minutes Progresso got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Ixona. Reynaldo Dodorol hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. If Reynaldo Dodorol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute, Santos Laurgain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
