The corner led to Lastenia FC's Cristo Senin getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Javier Henric had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romulo Arce. PI FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Javier Henric was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. PI FC made a substitution. Camilo Bartolome replaced Eulalio Orti. After 14 minutes of play, Lastenia FC's Adan Vasco made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romulo Arce was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Lastenia FC's zone, Prospero Esdras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliciano Goyo came out of the goal and Prospero Esdras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 24 minutes of play, PI FC's Camilo Bartolome made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feliciano Goyo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lastenia FC's Feliciano Goyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Bartolome in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Henric got free with Romulo Arce in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the game, PI FC's Camilo Bartolome nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliciano Goyo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 40th minute Lorenzo Rik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Modesto Opilano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lorenzo Rik was the one to do the kick off. Romulo Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Rik, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 97th minute Lorenzo Rik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lastenia FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
