Spectators: 7464 (Terracing: 5599, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Aquiles Mel made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match Aquiles Mel climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Celso Dalmu. 6 minutes into the match, Islas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Mel came free, but Celso Dalmu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Dalmu stood somewhat misplaced when Aquiles Mel came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 8 minute. Justo Chorche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Celso Dalmu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Aquiles Mel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chosmes's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Mel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Dalmu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celso Dalmu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquiles Mel went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When Aquiles Mel in the 21st play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Celso Dalmu kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 4-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After a defensive mix-up in Islas AFC's zone, Aquiles Mel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Dalmu came out of the goal and Aquiles Mel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquiles Mel in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celso Dalmu saved Islas AFC from getting behind. Octavio Cristofol charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octavio Cristofol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Celso Dalmu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquiles Mel in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celso Dalmu saved Islas AFC from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Rosendo Itzaina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aquiles Mel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Reynaldo Bitxintxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Aquiles Mel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristobal Enekoitz was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Islas AFC's Felipe Munio got a free kick in the 62nd minute. A hard shot 70 in the game by Rosendo Itzaina from a close distance when the talented Lino Oinatz managed to make a qualified save. Chosmes's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Islas AFC's zone, Aquiles Mel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Dalmu came out of the goal and Aquiles Mel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristobal Enekoitz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lino Oinatz came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristobal Enekoitz slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 75th minute. Lino Oinatz made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Rosendo Itzaina sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chosmes's goalkeeper Lino Oinatz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 84th play minutes Aquiles Mel shot 6-1, a short shot which went by Celso Dalmu and just under the crossbar into goal. Celso Dalmu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquiles Mel's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquiles Mel in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celso Dalmu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celso Dalmu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Chorche, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After a rather tough play, Chosmes's Fermin Pio got a free kick in the 96th minute. Islas AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
