Spectators: 7635 (Terracing: 5727, Seating: 1756, VIP seats: 152) Lastenia FC's Lorenzo Rik started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andres Galtero took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lino Oinatz. Lino Oinatz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The supporters of Chosmes booed when Lastenia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Sanson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lino Oinatz made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Javier Henric sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute, Javier Henric ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lino Oinatz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Feliciano Goyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Mel, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute, Ricardo Gizon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Javier Henric had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Oinatz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lorenzo Rik's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 36th play minute Javier Henric came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lino Oinatz. 3-0. In the 39th minute, Andriy Shevchenko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Lastenia FC's Andres Galtero got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After 44 played minutes, Chosmes's Ricardo Gizon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Feliciano Goyo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chosmes reached it. 46 minutes into the game, Lastenia FC's Lorenzo Rik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lino Oinatz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquiles Mel was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Rik notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Chosmes's Lino Oinatz. Lino Oinatz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lino Oinatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Rik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lino Oinatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Rik in the 67th minute of play. Justo Chorche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Goyo having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, Lastenia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Flamini to maneuver through the defense. Lino Oinatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Rik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andriy Shevchenko might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lino Oinatz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andriy Shevchenko ran back to his position shaking his head. Lorenzo Rik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Oinatz having to interfere. Lorenzo Rik scored 6-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lino Oinatz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the match, Chosmes's goal looked a bit too open when Andriy Shevchenko came free, but Lino Oinatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Oinatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Rik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Lastenia FC were the better team. Lastenia FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
