When Edgardo Bastian in the 26th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Celso Dalmu kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. 30 minutes into the game, Golden Black's Venancio Ostargi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Dalmu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Edgardo Bastian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Dalmu having to interfere. A collision led to Islas AFC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Felipe Munio hit a great ball. If Edgardo Bastian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 41 in the game by Venancio Ostargi from a close distance when the talented Celso Dalmu managed to make a qualified save. Islas AFC's players were relieved. Felipe Munio charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Venancio Ostargi to make the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Islas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Noe to maneuver through the defense. Venancio Ostargi scored 4-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celso Dalmu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Venancio Ostargi might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celso Dalmu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Venancio Ostargi ran back to his position shaking his head. Celso Dalmu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgardo Bastian went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 72nd minute, Faustino Loi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Golden Black's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
