After 13 played minutes The Diablos Futbol Banda got a freekick which was hit by Lars Jereminsen. The supporters of The Diablos Futbol Banda booed when EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephan Hofer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ash Appleton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florentino Urbez in the 24th minute. Ash Appleton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Santo in the 45th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, The Diablos Futbol Banda's Ezequiel Arruda got a free kick in the 46th minute. EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's Florentino Urbez got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in The Diablos Futbol Banda's zone, Florentino Urbez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ash Appleton came out of the goal and Florentino Urbez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 53 minutes, Jeronimo Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeronimo Santo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ash Appleton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Urbez in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, The Diablos Futbol Banda's Cristi Chifu got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57thth minute of the game Florentino Urbez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Diablos Futbol Banda's Ash Appleton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Cayetano Medero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rafael Cordarryl. That made the score 1-2 in the 59 minute of play. Ash Appleton came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's Florentino Urbez. But to his dismay, Florentino Urbez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. With a little luck, EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's Rafael Cordarryl got control of the ball when Lars Jereminsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's Silverio Herensuge got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 76th minute EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero were awarded a corner. Jeronimo Santo went to the cornerflag to take it. Cayetano Medero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Cordarryl having to interfere. EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's Rafael Cordarryl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Jereminsen in the 82nd minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Jonathan Vito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Federico Xacintu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ash Appleton was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The Diablos Futbol Banda's Gustavo Perpinya was substituted for Cristi Chifu. 90 minutes into the game, EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's Jeronimo Santo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ash Appleton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
