Spectators: 7604 (Terracing: 5704, Seating: 1749, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amador Patxi started the match with the kick off. Bernardino Telmo came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by AcinetobacterFC's Guido Gaizko. But to his dismay, Guido Gaizko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ruben Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan do Vale in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pomona AFC's goalkeeper Bernardino Telmo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Pomona AFC's goalkeeper Bernardino Telmo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guido Gaizko. Ruben Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Sugar in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Frechoso in the 12th minute of play forced AcinetobacterFC's goalkeeper Ruben Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruben Galindo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Pomona AFC's Amadeo Sazon shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 22nd minute, Guido Gaizko fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 24th minute of the match AcinetobacterFC got a corner. Pomona AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Prospero Abalos ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on AcinetobacterFC's corner Prospero Abalos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bernardino Telmo quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Gaizko got free with Bernardino Telmo in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the game, Pastor Lizardi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AcinetobacterFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pomona AFC the free kick. The supporters of Pomona AFC booed when AcinetobacterFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Lizardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Arturo Sugar came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Pomona AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Sugar couldn't finish the play. Bernardino Telmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Abalos in the 35th minute of the match. Arturo Sugar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Galindo having to interfere. AcinetobacterFC's Guido Gaizko got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, AcinetobacterFC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan do Vale came free, but Ruben Galindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pomona AFC's Sander Bust was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ruben Galindo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half Pomona AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prospero Abalos was the one to do the kick off. Bernardino Telmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Gaizko in the 51st minute of play. In the 56th minute Prospero Abalos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Telmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Arturo Sugar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pomona AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Sugar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Galindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the game, Guido Gaizko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Bernardino Telmo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 62 minutes into the game, Prospero Abalos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Bernardino Telmo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Baldomiro Heli struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Bernardino Telmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AcinetobacterFC. If Guido Gaizko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AcinetobacterFC's Ruben Galindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Patxi in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Juan do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 played minutes Pomona AFC got a freekick which was hit by Juan do Vale. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
