UE Lleida's Nenad Krivošija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Åman in the 10th minute of play. Nicanor Idacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Montrel having to interfere. Jacinto Fernandes's late challenge caught a UE Lleida's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Fernandes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to UE Lleida getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Zeledon Arnalt hit a great ball. When Honorato Baleren fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UE Lleida's protests and gave Honorato Baleren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd match minute, UE Lleida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Baleren to maneuver through the defense. Nenad Krivošija came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Girondo FC's Gösta Åman. But to his dismay, Gösta Åman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 37th play minutes Jaroslaw Wejta shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Nenad Krivošija and just under the crossbar into goal. With a little luck, Girondo FC's Leo Montrel got control of the ball when Gilberto Gizon tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Honorato Baleren was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. A collision led to UE Lleida getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Honorato Baleren hit a great ball. Nenad Krivošija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaroslaw Wejta, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Girondo FC's Gösta Åman got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaroslaw Wejta was the one to do the kick off. If 柳笑亦 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 柳笑亦 kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When Jaroslaw Wejta came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Girondo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaroslaw Wejta couldn't finish the play. Nenad Krivošija was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and 柳笑亦 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 柳笑亦 really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. After having played for 71 minutes, Gösta Åman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Girondo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gösta Åman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaroslaw Wejta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jaroslaw Wejta came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Girondo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaroslaw Wejta couldn't finish the play. 柳笑亦 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Nenad Krivošija made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, 柳笑亦 took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Nenad Krivošija to make any attempt to save it. 83 minutes into the match, UE Lleida's goal looked a bit too open when 柳笑亦 came free, but Nenad Krivošija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gilberto Gizon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, UE Lleida's Prospero Acevedo got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Girondo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Girondo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
