A. Azucarera Argentina's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Christer Larsfelt was slow to take the kick. During this time PANAMERICANO FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 19th minute Eliézer Ben Yehuda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PANAMERICANO FC's Yuba Kepa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Phelipe in the 23rd minute of play. Jeronimo Otsoko's late challenge caught a PANAMERICANO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeronimo Otsoko helped the player get up and apologised. C. A. Azucarera Argentina's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Osi Pratto scored to the left of an out of position Nemesio Osasun, making the score, 1-0. Osi Pratto scored 2-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nemesio Osasun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to C. A. Azucarera Argentina getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Edgard Bastiaro hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reynaldo Izotz made a kick off. The supporters of PANAMERICANO FC booed when C. A. Azucarera Argentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Loiola didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute Eliézer Ben Yehuda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A. Azucarera Argentina's Nemesio Osasun managed to reach the ball for a save. Nemesio Osasun came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by PANAMERICANO FC's Osi Pratto. But to his dismay, Osi Pratto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Nemesio Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliézer Ben Yehuda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Eliézer Ben Yehuda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nemesio Osasun. C. A. Azucarera Argentina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliézer Ben Yehuda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 76th minute Luciano Phelipe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuba Kepa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
