Damian Sansone started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Cuevas getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Ruben Jeraldo hit a great ball. Tomas Rufo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radu Proca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Sansone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Jeraldo during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Cuevas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Jeraldo to maneuver through the defense. Cuevas's Cornelio Remir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Cuevas from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the match, Cuevas's goalkeeper Cornelio Remir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Ganix. Radu Proca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Sansone, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 26 minutes into the match, Hugo Ganix notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cuevas's Cornelio Remir. Cornelio Remir was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Placido Pello kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Damian Sansone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Potencial Desperdiciado F's Radu Proca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 minutes of play, Potencial Desperdiciado F's Hugo Ganix made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Remir was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Rufo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cornelio Remir. That made the score 3-0 in the 40 minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Rufo to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Rufo in the 53rd minute of play forced Cuevas's goalkeeper Cornelio Remir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Potencial Desperdiciado F's Peng Peng got a free kick in the 67th minute. The supporters of Potencial Desperdiciado F booed when Cuevas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Sansone didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iraido Treviño in the 74th minute of play forced Cuevas's goalkeeper Cornelio Remir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Potencial Desperdiciado F's Osmar Baiano got a free kick in the 81st minute. Cornelio Remir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iraido Treviño in the 85th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Cuevas's goal looked a bit too open when Iraido Treviño came free, but Cornelio Remir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Potencial Desperdiciado F's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
