ROOFF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Azucarera Argentina the free kick. In the 16th match minute, ROOFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Sotil to maneuver through the defense. A long shot from Edgard Bastiaro in the 17th minute of play was well struck, but Filiberto Odol made a really good save at the right post. C. A. Azucarera Argentina were furious when Romeo Loiola was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, ROOFF's Urbano Sotil got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Luciano Phelipe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Odol having to interfere. Nemesio Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Gerazan in the 32nd minute of the match. Nemesio Osasun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amancio Gerazan went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Filiberto Odol was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Luciano Phelipe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luciano Phelipe really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilfredo Ferrando was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfredo Ferrando got free with Nemesio Osasun in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 76 minutes, Matias Ofelio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Azucarera Argentina and the ROOFF players grew even worse after the yellow card.
