Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Izotz in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ladislao Oliveiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, C. A. Azucarera Argentina's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Steven came free, but Nemesio Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Islas Malvinas Argentinas's Amadeo Santio to fire away a dangerous shot which Nemesio Osasun despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Islas Malvinas Argentinas's Agustin Steven got a free kick in the 25th minute.
