In the 3rd minute Pascal Borke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Urre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Egon Holló. 19 minutes into the match, Gomosao F.C.'s Jesus Baristo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro Urre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Petre Stolniceanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Placido Gartzea in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas dos Santos in the 24th minute of play forced Gomosao F.C.'s goalkeeper Petre Stolniceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petre Stolniceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Lucio Osoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rosario Central's goalkeeper Alvaro Urre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alvaro Urre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Baristo in the 31st minute of the match. Gomosao F.C.'s Eustaquio Buinton was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alvaro Urre in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Placido Gartzea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Petre Stolniceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petre Stolniceanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Placido Gartzea in the 43rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filiberto Azeari during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gomosao F.C. getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Filiberto Azeari hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rodolfo Egoi made the kick off in the second half. Gomosao F.C.'s Lucio Osoitz got his second yellow card of the match in the 52nd minute. The referee ordered Lucio Osoitz off the ground. Lucio Osoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Placido Gartzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the match, Douglas dos Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petre Stolniceanu. Gomosao F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Douglas dos Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Egoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Pascal Borke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gomosao F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Pascal Borke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Urre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, Pascal Borke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Baristo in the 74th minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Alvaro Urre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Egoi notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Gomosao F.C.'s Petre Stolniceanu. Petre Stolniceanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 80 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Egoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Petre Stolniceanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gomosao F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1.
