An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Cugat in the 5th minute of play forced Gomosao F.C.'s goalkeeper Petre Stolniceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gomosao F.C.'s Petre Stolniceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Gomosao F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 8thth minute of the game Evelio Jerold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gomosao F.C.'s Petre Stolniceanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Baristo in the 9th minute of play forced Newton FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Hug to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 played minutes Newton FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Eufemio. When Edgard Eufemio came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Newton FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Eufemio couldn't finish the play. Jesus Baristo struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Zeledon Hug didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gomosao F.C.. After 20 played minutes Gomosao F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Bieito. Petre Stolniceanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evelio Jerold's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Teo Cugat might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petre Stolniceanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teo Cugat ran back to his position shaking his head. Petre Stolniceanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evelio Jerold's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. If Evelio Jerold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Hug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Borke in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Newton FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Emanuel Bilbo hit a great ball. Petre Stolniceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Jerold in the 38th minute of play. Teo Cugat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Hug showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Baristo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Petre Stolniceanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evelio Jerold's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 60 played minutes Gomosao F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Necdet Olgunsoy. Evelio Jerold struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. A collision led to Gomosao F.C. getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Enzo Estebe hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes, Newton FC's Teo Cugat shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Petre Stolniceanu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Newton FC reached it. Petre Stolniceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Jerold, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Zeledon Hug stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jesus Baristo's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Newton FC's Annadeva Flumian quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fermin Bieito, made in the 72nd minute of the game. Zeledon Hug showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Borke, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute of the match Gomosao F.C. got a corner. Newton FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After 86th play minutes Evelio Jerold shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Petre Stolniceanu and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 91st minute, Evelio Jerold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evelio Jerold in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petre Stolniceanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Newton FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gomosao F.C. for a fine match.
