But to his dismay, Angelino Rico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Cecilio Handi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bunge's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Handi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guido Batista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donato Celio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cecilio Handi scored 0-3 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guido Batista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Donato Celio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Donato Celio made a precise shot to the right of Guido Batista. Cerrito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After 19 minutes of play, Bunge's Donato Celio made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guido Batista was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cerrito's Guido Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Celio in the 26th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Donato Celio notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Cerrito's Guido Batista. Guido Batista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Donato Celio struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Guido Batista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bunge. 33 minutes into the match, Cerrito's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Garci came free, but Guido Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Manuel Collado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cecilio Handi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guido Batista having to make a save. 37 minutes into the match, Donato Celio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guido Batista. Cerrito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donato Celio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Ciriaco Ritchie kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Cerrito's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Celio came free, but Guido Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guido Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Handi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Donato Celio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cecilio Handi to make the kick off. Cecilio Handi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Guido Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Cerrito's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Handi came free, but Guido Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, Bunge's Donato Celio made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guido Batista was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hernan Sengrat's late challenge caught a Bunge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernan Sengrat helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bunge booed when Cerrito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Sengrat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Donato Celio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guido Batista was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Bunge made a substitution. Geronimo Qwinton replaced Eriberto Montrelle. If Donato Celio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerrito's goalkeeper Guido Batista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd play minute Donato Celio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Guido Batista. 0-11. 0-12 became the score in the 90th minute when Donato Celio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Bunge's Guido Batista threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isidro Gartzi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match was over Bunge could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cerrito throughout the match.
