After having played for 71 minutes, Segundo Ucieda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Segundo Ucieda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severino Atauri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Egoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ladislao Patrido's late challenge caught a Rosario Central's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladislao Patrido helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, IM James Liquin HC's Ladislao Patrido got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Rosario Central's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
