Marcial Cristofol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bachil Ćaleta, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute, Igor Hats made a precise shot to the right of Marcial Cristofol. Newton FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Evelio Jerolds short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Nofre Colillas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Robustiano Kimetz's late challenge caught a Canalla de Rosario's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robustiano Kimetz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Newton FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Robustiano Kimetz hit a great ball. Nicolás Catena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Marcial Cristofol made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Canalla de Rosario eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
