The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Placido Gartzea in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Celestino Mannuel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 4 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Egoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Celestino Mannuel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rosario Central's Rodolfo Egoi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 10th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 15th play minute Placido Gartzea came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Celestino Mannuel. 3-0. Baltasar Ibañez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Alvaro Urre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Placido Gartzea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Rosario Central's Placido Gartzea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC's Celestino Mannuel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC from getting a goal against them. Celestino Mannuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Gartzea in the 44th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Rodolfo Egoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosario Central's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Egoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celestino Mannuel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Orlando Cordairo hit a great ball. Hans Falck struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Celestino Mannuel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario Central. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Celestino Mannuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Gartzea in the 52nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Egoi in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celestino Mannuel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 55 minutes of play, Rosario Central's Placido Gartzea made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celestino Mannuel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC booed when Rosario Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Manex didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celestino Mannuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Falck in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Placido Gartzea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celestino Mannuel. VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Placido Gartzea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC's Celestino Mannuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Ucieda in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Egoi notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC's Celestino Mannuel. Celestino Mannuel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd minute, Placido Gartzea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celestino Mannuel was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. When Rosario Central's Placido Gartzea in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC's goalie prevented a goal. Celestino Mannuel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Placido Gartzea's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Segundo Ucieda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rosario Central fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. 89 minutes into the match, VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Falck came free, but Celestino Mannuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celestino Mannuel came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosario Central's Rodolfo Egoi. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Egoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. When the referee ended the match the Rosario Central players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
