Celestino Mannuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Jerold, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After some careless play in the VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC defense, Teo Cugat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celestino Mannuel. The VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celestino Mannuel should have stopped the shot. 17 minutes into the game, Evelio Jerold cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Celestino Mannuel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lorenzo Santikurtz made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Baltasar Ibañez sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute, Baltasar Ibañez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lorenzo Santikurtz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 27 minutes into the game, Newton FC's Evelio Jerold nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celestino Mannuel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. A collision led to VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Israel Elivareo hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Edgard Eufemio notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC's Celestino Mannuel. Celestino Mannuel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Newton FC's Alfredo Piearres in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baltasar Ibañez to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Piearres came free, but Celestino Mannuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Teo Cugat suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 60th minute, Eloy Gotzon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC's zone, Edgard Eufemio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celestino Mannuel came out of the goal and Edgard Eufemio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Evelio Jerold ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celestino Mannuel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Alfredo Piearres might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celestino Mannuel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Piearres ran back to his position shaking his head. Celestino Mannuel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgard Eufemio in the 71st minute. After 72 played minutes VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Illan. Celestino Mannuel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgard Eufemio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-8 in the 73 minute of play. In the 79th minute, Baltasar Ibañez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Newton FC's Robustiano Kimetz was substituted for Alfredo Piearres. VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC's Celestino Mannuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Frisco in the 91st minute of play. After some careless play in the VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC defense, Robustiano Kimetz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celestino Mannuel.
