Hernan Sengrat charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hernan Sengrat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hernan Sengrat kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Rodolfo Egoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rosario Central fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With his leg Guido Batista managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Rosario Central's Placido Gartzea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cerrito's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Rodolfo Egoi scored to the left of an out of position Guido Batista, making the score, 3-0. In the 28th minute, Placido Gartzea made a precise shot to the right of Guido Batista. Cerrito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When Rosario Central's Placido Gartzea in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cerrito's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 34 minutes, Anacleto Tirso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerrito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolfo Egoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Placido Gartzea had several of the Cerrito's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-0 score and a disappointed Guido Batista as he didn't even see the shot coming. The wind increased when Placido Gartzea made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Berasko during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cerrito's Eduardo Berasko got a free kick in the 50th minute. Rodolfo Egoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Guido Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Placido Gartzea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guido Batista was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the match, Cerrito's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Gartzea came free, but Guido Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 minutes of play, Rosario Central's Placido Gartzea made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guido Batista was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anacleto Tirso during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 67 played minutes Cerrito got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Tirso. Placido Gartzea struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Guido Batista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario Central. Rodolfo Egoi took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guido Batista. Guido Batista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Eduardo Berasko kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Cerrito's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Egoi came free, but Guido Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guido Batista came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosario Central's Rodolfo Egoi. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Egoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. After some careless play in the Cerrito defense, Placido Gartzea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guido Batista. The Cerrito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guido Batista should have stopped the shot. Guido Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Egoi in the 84th minute of the match. Rodolfo Egoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guido Batista having to make a save. Rodolfo Egoi struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Guido Batista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario Central. In the 94th minute Placido Gartzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 97th play minutes Placido Gartzea shot 16-0, a short shot which went by Guido Batista and just under the crossbar into goal. Rosario Central walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
