After a long run with the ball, Christian Donzel did a trick in the 16th minute in front of Naturaleza fc's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-0. Babilonia FC's Marciano Gudesteo got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zézinho Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Madaleno in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Régis Ferreira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Babilonia FC's Modesto Natal. Modesto Natal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Narciso Gasteiz charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narciso Gasteiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Narciso Gasteiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Régis Ferreira scored 1-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Modesto Natal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Régis Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Modesto Natal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Gilbert Viklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Natal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Babilonia FC's zone, Régis Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Natal came out of the goal and Régis Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silverio Madaleno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Régis Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Natal having to interfere. Zézinho Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Madaleno in the 58th minute of the match. Régis Ferreira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Modesto Natal having to make a save. In the 61st minute, Naturaleza fc's Régis Ferreira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Modesto Natal. Modesto Natal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 70th play minute Gilbert Viklund came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Modesto Natal. 1-5. After having played for 74 minutes, Gilbert Viklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Naturaleza fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Viklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonio Ugutz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Modesto Natal came out and tried to block the shot, but Antonio Ugutz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 75th minute. If Narciso Gasteiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 minutes Babilonia FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Régis Ferreira who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in Babilonia FC's zone, Antonio Ugutz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Natal came out of the goal and Antonio Ugutz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Régis Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Natal having to interfere. Modesto Natal was a little too slow when Antonio Ugutz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-7.
