Rodrigo Ledrado was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Elvio Socorro. Rodrigo Ledrado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Socorro in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Elvio Socorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Ledrado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Ledrado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Socorro in the 28th minute of the match. After 29 minutes of play, Club Quilmes MdP's Burns Baba made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Porfiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute, Ovidio Osorio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodrigo Ledrado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brahim Díaz's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hartlepool United F.C. reached it. After the first half Club Quilmes MdP were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Hartlepool United F.C.'s Emiliano Porfiro got control of the ball when Ovidio Osorio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anier Clodio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emiliano Porfiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Anier Clodio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 63rd minute. Hartlepool United F.C. made a substitution. Freddy Asur replaced Elvio Socorro. Rodrigo Ledrado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Asur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76thth minute of the game Brahim Díaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Quilmes MdP's Rodrigo Ledrado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Club Quilmes MdP's Burns Baba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emiliano Porfiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Burns Baba might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Porfiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Burns Baba ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Club Quilmes MdP's zone, Brahim Díaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Ledrado came out of the goal and Brahim Díaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santos Ibar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Emiliano Porfiro made a huge save. Hartlepool United F.C.'s Freddy Asur got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Club Quilmes MdP supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Quilmes MdP would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
