When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Elvio Socorro took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Roni Mäkiaho to make any attempt to save it. Valentin Admon's late challenge caught a Hartlepool United F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentin Admon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, one of Dumesnil AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dumesnil AFC. In the 26th minute Brahim Díaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roni Mäkiaho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elvio Socorro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roni Mäkiaho having to make a save. Elvio Socorro might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roni Mäkiaho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elvio Socorro ran back to his position shaking his head. After 35 minutes, Brahim Díaz made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Dumesnil AFC's Roni Mäkiaho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brahim Díaz in the 39th minute of play forced Dumesnil AFC's goalkeeper Roni Mäkiaho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dumesnil AFC's Roni Mäkiaho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Socorro in the 41st minute of play. Roni Mäkiaho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Socorro in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Erubiel Mannie made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Elvio Socorro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roni Mäkiaho was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 54th minute, Damazy Kolba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Dumesnil AFC's zone, Savas Romanidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roni Mäkiaho came out of the goal and Savas Romanidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hartlepool United F.C. made a substitution. Freddy Asur replaced Elvio Socorro. In the 60th minute Freddy Asur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roni Mäkiaho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Hartlepool United F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Hartlepool United F.C.'s Brahim Díaz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Brahim Díaz sped through Dumesnil AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roni Mäkiaho. Emiliano Porfiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseo Gaizko in the 81st minute. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Brahim Díaz put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Roni Mäkiaho.
