Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gregorio's Jimeno Emeterio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Melchor Pero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Noe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Malvin got free with Fabian Cebo in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the game, Armando Malvin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fabian Cebo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 21 minutes of play Gregorio's Herminio Alonso was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 21 played minutes Gregorio got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Alonso. In the 28th match minute, Desamparados FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Noe to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Gregorio's Armando Malvin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Cebo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Armando Malvin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gregorio's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Malvin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Cebo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 51st minute of the match, Carolo Asier got a very nice opportunity to score, but Melchor Pero was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 54th minute, Armando Malvin made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Cebo. Desamparados FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 89th minute, Guillermo Vergaray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute Guillermo Vergaray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Cebo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Desamparados FC's goalkeeper Fabian Cebo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maximino Chumo's late challenge caught a Gregorio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximino Chumo helped the player get up and apologised. Maximino Chumo hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Gregorio were the better team. Gregorio's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
