With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Mon in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulises Celio saved Palermo FC from getting behind. The Atlantazo fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Atlantazo's Maximiliano Mon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Atlantazo's Maximiliano Mon in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Atlantazo's Marcelino Joanes got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 31 minutes of play, Palermo FC's Segundo Bermudez made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pontus Gråberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute of the match Atlantazo got a corner. Palermo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sean Robenhagen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alejo Maura struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Ulises Celio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlantazo. Francisco Sazon was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 42 minutes into the match. Tomás Fidele walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After some careless play in the Atlantazo defense, Segundo Bermudez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pontus Gråberg. The Atlantazo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pontus Gråberg should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximiliano Mon made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Alejo Maura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Edorta in the 57th minute of play forced Atlantazo's goalkeeper Pontus Gråberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pontus Gråberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Edorta in the 59th minute of play. In the 65th minute Emiliano Edorta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Gråberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Edorta got free with Pontus Gråberg in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atlantazo's Pontus Gråberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Atlantazo from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute, Segundo Bermudez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 minutes, Maximiliano Mon made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Palermo FC's Ulises Celio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pontus Gråberg made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Emiliano Edorta sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute Alejo Maura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Celio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alejo Maura came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Atlantazo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejo Maura couldn't finish the play. Ulises Celio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Mon in the 97th minute of play.
