After a rather tough play, Desamparados FC's Niceto Machado got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Desamparados FC's Fabian Cebo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Desamparados FC from getting a goal against them. Ulises Celio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Pacifico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, Carolo Asier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Desamparados FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palermo FC the free kick. Segundo Bermudez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulises Celio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Pacifico in the 12th minute of the match. The Palermo FC fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Palermo FC's Tomás Fidele looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tomás Fidele struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Fabian Cebo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palermo FC. The audience was convinced that Segundo Bermudez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabian Cebo was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After 24 minutes, Niceto Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Desamparados FC and the Palermo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 minutes, Feliberto Noe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Desamparados FC and the Palermo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Desamparados FC's Feliberto Noe got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Tomás Fidele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Feliberto Noe kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Fabian Cebo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Patricio Camerino lost his temper 39 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 38th minute, one of Desamparados FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Desamparados FC. Anselmo Bonadona hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carolo Asier to make the kick off. In the 65th minute Segundo Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Cebo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carolo Asier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ulises Celio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Fidele in the 71st minute of play forced Desamparados FC's goalkeeper Fabian Cebo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palermo FC's Segundo Bermudez got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Segundo Bermudez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Cebo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 75th match minute, Desamparados FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Noe to maneuver through the defense. After 77 minutes of play, Palermo FC's Tomás Fidele made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabian Cebo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Segundo Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Cebo having to interfere. Segundo Bermudez scored 5-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Cebo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Palermo FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Anselmo Bonadona hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Palermo FC fully deserved thier win.
