Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Zentenario's Norberto Blasi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Zentenario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Mede to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Slawomir Drapinski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnaldo Mede. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. With a little luck, Zentenario's Arnaldo Mede got control of the ball when Slawomir Drapinski tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de La Plata's Bienvenido Gol got a free kick in the 13th minute. Slawomir Drapinski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Arnaldo Mede when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 18th minute, Zentenario's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jefferson Kaluzny fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 21 minutes into the match, Bienvenido Gol dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnaldo Mede, 2-0. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Osoro in the 34th minute of play forced Estudiantes de La Plata's goalkeeper Teofilo Amato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ildefonso Osoro scored 2-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teofilo Amato, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
