Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaac Lope struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Arnaldo Mede didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Lalus. In the 16th minute, Ildefonso Osoro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Ederono was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Leopoldo Ederono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Urtsin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Zentenario's Arnaldo Mede got control of the ball when Isidoro Ponce tried to sneak it across the goal line. Javier Gimenez hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes AC Lalus got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Montae. Isidoro Ponce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaldo Mede read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Leopoldo Ederono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Blasi in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Zentenario's zone, Javier Gimenez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Mede came out of the goal and Javier Gimenez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, AC Lalus's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Blasi came free, but Leopoldo Ederono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Arnaldo Mede showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Ponce in the 55th minute of the match. It was a well-played corner which Isaac Lope managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Zentenario's Arnaldo Mede played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Ponce in the 57th minute of play. Arnaldo Mede didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Ponce went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute, Valentin Vimaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cirilo Figueroa hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 80 minutes, Ildefonso Osoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zentenario and the AC Lalus players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Ildefonso Osoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd match minute, AC Lalus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Åke Back to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo Ederono came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Zentenario's Norberto Blasi. But to his dismay, Norberto Blasi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.
