When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Niculae Nicolaescu took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Asgeir Gundersen to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, El ICC Fútbol Club's Hipolito Tab got a free kick in the 28th minute. The supporters of El ICC Fútbol Club booed when Hunter FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Tano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximiliano Otsando scored 4-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Asgeir Gundersen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Asgeir Gundersen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Boninsegna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Asgeir Gundersen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maximiliano Otsando showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 41 minute of play. With a little luck, Hunter FC's Asgeir Gundersen got control of the ball when Hipolito Tab tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Hunter FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Osoitz to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

But to his dismay, Maximiliano Otsando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Asgeir Gundersen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Otsando in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Hunter FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Carlos Fernando Diniz hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes, El ICC Fútbol Club's Cosme Abel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Asgeir Gundersen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El ICC Fútbol Club reached it. After a rather tough play, Hunter FC's David Fonda got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute Maximiliano Otsando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asgeir Gundersen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Hunter FC defense, Niculae Nicolaescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Asgeir Gundersen. The Hunter FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Asgeir Gundersen should have stopped the shot. When Maximiliano Otsando fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El ICC Fútbol Club's protests and gave Maximiliano Otsando a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hunter FC booed when El ICC Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Otsando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hunter FC's Asgeir Gundersen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Boninsegna in the 90th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Jose Hartz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. El ICC Fútbol Club fully deserved thier win.
