After 4 played minutes Hunter FC got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Corderro. Jonatan Azeari took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Asgeir Gundersen. Hunter FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Ismael Rainerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Furman charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Furman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, Hunter FC's Alex Pilgren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Albino Gaufred. Albino Gaufred yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Martin Azeari took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Asgeir Gundersen. Asgeir Gundersen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When Tomas Pelagius came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Hunter FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Pelagius couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Tomas Pelagius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jose Hartz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Albino Gaufred skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 30 played minutes Diadema AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Furman. If Alex Pilgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Diadema AFC's Enrique Lorencio got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th match minute, Hunter FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Osoitz to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Hunter FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Azeari came free, but Asgeir Gundersen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Hartz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jose Hartz to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, one of Diadema AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Diadema AFC. In the 53rd minute, Alex Pilgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albino Gaufred was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 56 minutes into the game, Enrique Lorencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Diadema AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hunter FC the free kick. If Alex Pilgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diadema AFC's Jaime Furman got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Jaime Furman off the ground. After 64 played minutes Diadema AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Furman. After a defensive mix-up in Diadema AFC's zone, David Fonda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albino Gaufred came out of the goal and David Fonda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Hunter FC booed when Diadema AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Lorencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Pelagius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albino Gaufred made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Osoitz in the 74th minute of play. Albino Gaufred showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Hartz in the 75th minute of the match. Martin Azeari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Asgeir Gundersen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute David Fonda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Gaufred saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diadema AFC's Enrique Lorencio got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Enrique Lorencio off the ground. 85 minutes into the match, Tomas Pelagius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albino Gaufred. Diadema AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Pelagius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 87th minute, Martin Azeari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albino Gaufred made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Pilgren in the 92nd minute of play. A collision led to Hunter FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Carlos Fernando Diniz hit a great ball. Asgeir Gundersen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Azeari in the 95th minute of the match.
