Rolando Silbestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Liniers de Bahia Blanca booed when boca fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Bidari didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruperto Urtsua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelo Truylos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Humberto Nerio made a huge save. With a little luck, boca fc's Humberto Nerio got control of the ball when Ruperto Urtsua tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute, Santiago Baraquiel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Humberto Nerio. The goal made the score 1-0. Santiago Baraquiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Nerio having to interfere. When Marciano Perico fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liniers de Bahia Blanca's protests and gave Marciano Perico a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Liniers de Bahia Blanca got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Perico. Isaias Lesardo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquiles Xacintu was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes in the game, Aquiles Xacintu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Guido Oxarra having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Silbestre in the 60th minute of play forced Liniers de Bahia Blanca's goalkeeper Guido Oxarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liniers de Bahia Blanca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Telesforo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Humberto Nerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Malvin in the 81st minute of the match.
