Atilano Reno kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Leonides Lauren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 45th minute Hermengildo Orkatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Lauren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ildefonso Richie was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Belgrano FC's Lisandro Abeijon got a free kick in the 51st minute. Belgrano FC's Leonides Lauren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Belgrano FC from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, Rodolfo Walme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Temperley made a substitution. Leonides Lauren went to the wrong direction when Ramon Bittor was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Dionisio Argider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Leonides Lauren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 98 minutes into the match, Dionisio Argider dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leonides Lauren, 1-9. When the match was over Temperley could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Belgrano FC throughout the match.
