Simão Ferreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Bidari in the 18th minute. Filiberto Florin lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The crowd rose to their feet as boca fc's Aquiles Xacintu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Simão Ferreira. That made the score 2-0 after 29 minutes of play. Simão Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Xacintu in the 34th minute of the match. Aquiles Juvenal charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquiles Juvenal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 42 minutes into the game, boca fc's Eugenio Bidari nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simão Ferreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Simão Ferreira made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Amancio Matxin sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aquiles Xacintu made a kick off. Eugenio Bidari took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simão Ferreira. Simão Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Victorino Guillelmo hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Capillas's Simão Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Matxin in the 66th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Capillas's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Bidari came free, but Simão Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Atilano Gergori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Tomas Elixio made a precise shot to the right of Simão Ferreira. Capillas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Simão Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Xacintu in the 81st minute of play. Simão Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Bidari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Capillas's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Bidari came free, but Simão Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
