Spectators: 7454 (Terracing: 5591, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) In the 4th minute Marcelo Truylos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clodoveo Turi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Clodoveo Turi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Capillas getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Atilano Gergori hit a great ball. In the 13th match minute, Liniers de Bahia Blanca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Baraquiel to maneuver through the defense. Igor Izotz made in the 14th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ruperto Urtsua. Simão Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Urtsua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victorino Guillelmo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Simão Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Truylos in the 28th minute of the match. After 30 minutes, Emiliano Umbruso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capillas and the Liniers de Bahia Blanca players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emiliano Umbruso kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Ruperto Urtsua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simão Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Telesforo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Gustavo Telesforo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simão Ferreira. Capillas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Telesforo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After the first half Liniers de Bahia Blanca were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Atilano Gergori made the kick off in the second half. Alejandro Malvin hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 54 minutes Liniers de Bahia Blanca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emiliano Umbruso who took care of the corner kick. Capillas's Simão Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Baraquiel in the 56th minute of play. In the 62nd minute of the match, Marcelo Truylos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Simão Ferreira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ruperto Urtsua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Capillas's Simão Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Malvin in the 76th minute of play. When Albano Erroman fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capillas's protests and gave Albano Erroman a yellow card for diving instead. Albano Erroman hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Truylos got free with Simão Ferreira in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Igor Izotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Telesforo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Simão Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Capillas's goalkeeper Simão Ferreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruperto Urtsua. After 94 minutes, Gustavo Telesforo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liniers de Bahia Blanca and the Capillas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruperto Urtsua got free with Simão Ferreira in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Liniers de Bahia Blanca played a much better game than Capillas and deserved their victory. The Capillas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
