Neto Volpi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Niki Lauda sped through Saldungaray FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Neto Volpi. Neto Volpi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Gora, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 87th minute, Marco Naldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th match minute, RIVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Lenhardt to maneuver through the defense. Marcial Lordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Naldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. RIVER had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
