The crowd rose to their feet as RIVER's Bruno Oxarra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stefan Biegun. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. In the 27th minute, Bruno Oxarra reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stefan Biegun. The goal made the score 3-0. Guillermo Escobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Monigotes defense, Marco Rudolfo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefan Biegun. The Monigotes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefan Biegun should have stopped the shot. Giovanni Lenhardt hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Stefan Biegun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Rudolfo in the 43rd minute of play. Eric Târban's late challenge caught a Monigotes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eric Târban helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes RIVER got a freekick which was hit by Eric Târban.

The wind increased when Niki Lauda made the kick off in the second half. Stefan Biegun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niki Lauda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elpidio Indar hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Monigotes's Stefan Biegun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niki Lauda in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, RIVER's Niki Lauda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Monigotes's Guillermo Escobar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcial Lordi. That made the score 6-1 after 71 minutes of play. 74 minutes into the match, Tobias Esparza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefan Biegun. Monigotes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tobias Esparza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Stefan Biegun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pipo Benedetto, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 79th minute Pipo Benedetto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Biegun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The RIVER fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when RIVER's Pipo Benedetto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stefan Biegun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niki Lauda went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niki Lauda in the 90th minute of play forced Monigotes's goalkeeper Stefan Biegun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Niki Lauda notched a goal, 10-1, to the right of Monigotes's Stefan Biegun.
