He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RIVER reached it. Niki Lauda scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnulfo Garaile, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes into the game, RIVER's Eric Târban nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnulfo Garaile made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Wu Li Zhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Garaile having to interfere. Arnulfo Garaile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niki Lauda in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Eric Târban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Garaile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Târban took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnulfo Garaile. Arnulfo Garaile dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The supporters of Infierno FC booed when RIVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Rudolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnulfo Garaile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niki Lauda, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The RIVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. RIVER's Domingo Remigio was substituted for Bruno Oxarra. After 37 played minutes Infierno FC got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Mano. 40 minutes into the match, Niki Lauda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnulfo Garaile. Infierno FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niki Lauda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. 44 minutes into the match, RIVER's Niki Lauda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnulfo Garaile narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arnulfo Garaile didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niki Lauda went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. After the first half RIVER were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niki Lauda couldn't finish the play. Infierno FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Niki Lauda scored to the left of an out of position Arnulfo Garaile, making the score, 0-12. Infierno FC's Arnulfo Garaile proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Infierno FC from getting a goal against them. Arnulfo Garaile was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Niki Lauda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niki Lauda really showed his touch with that goal: 0-13. After 92 played minutes Infierno FC got a freekick which was hit by Roman Florin. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Niki Lauda put it in 0-14 from a short distance just to the right of Arnulfo Garaile. In the 96th minute, Niki Lauda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnulfo Garaile. The goal made the score 0-15. RIVER's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
