Emanuel Mikelats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Bastiaro in the 21st minute of play. Ivan Fernado charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Fernado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Maimará. 32 minutes into the match, Horacio Bero notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Maimará's Emanuel Mikelats. Emanuel Mikelats was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Galtero in the 39th minute of play forced Maimará's goalkeeper Emanuel Mikelats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rio Percy's Anibal Mattin got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maimará's Emanuel Mikelats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Bero in the 45th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Nicolas Galtero put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Emanuel Mikelats. After the first half Rio Percy were leading 0-9. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodolfo Estebe to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Rio Percy's Horacio Bero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emanuel Mikelats. That made the score 0-10 after 54 minutes of play. With a little luck, Maimará's Emanuel Mikelats got control of the ball when Nicolas Galtero tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute, Rio Percy's Nicolas Galtero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emanuel Mikelats. Emanuel Mikelats yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. 60 minutes into the match, Maimará's goalkeeper Emanuel Mikelats had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horacio Bero. In the 64th minute Nunez Bastiaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Mikelats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Horacio Bero could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Emanuel Mikelats however easily saved by the left post. 68 minutes into the match, Nunez Bastiaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuel Mikelats. Maimará's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nunez Bastiaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horacio Bero got free with Emanuel Mikelats in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Bastiaro in the 73rd minute of play forced Maimará's goalkeeper Emanuel Mikelats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 played minutes Maimará got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Oliverio. Horacio Bero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Emanuel Mikelats made a huge save. With splendid footwork Nicolas Galtero arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-14 by the left pole in the game's 81st minute. After a rather tough play, Rio Percy's Dalmacio Bieito got a free kick in the 88th minute. Emanuel Mikelats made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anibal Mattin in the 90th minute.
