Spectators: 7449 (Terracing: 5588, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Serafin Abaunza made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the game, Raul Pacho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aristides Matei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aristides Matei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raul Pacho went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Pablo Errando came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by PEÑAROL URUGUAYO's Placido Koldobika. But to his dismay, Placido Koldobika quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Placido Koldobika's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pablo Errando firmly grabbed it by the left post. Armando Abancens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Matei having to interfere. Aristides Matei came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Bañitos's Raul Pacho. But to his dismay, Raul Pacho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Hugo Sustrai made in the 46th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Placido Koldobika immediately put the ball in play. In the 47th match minute, Bañitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Hotz to maneuver through the defense. The PEÑAROL URUGUAYO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bañitos were winning 2-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raul Pacho was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, PEÑAROL URUGUAYO's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Pacho came free, but Aristides Matei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute of the match Bañitos got a corner. PEÑAROL URUGUAYO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rolando Luar ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bañitos's Rolando Luar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aristides Matei in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 57th minute, Bernabe Laurendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristides Matei made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Aquilino Orland sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute Atilano Blasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Matei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, PEÑAROL URUGUAYO's goalkeeper Aristides Matei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raul Pacho. Atilano Blasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Aristides Matei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, PEÑAROL URUGUAYO's Hugo Sustrai got a free kick in the 76th minute. Luis Eleder hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Atilano Blasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bañitos's supporters rose to their feet, but Atilano Blasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Matei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 82 minutes of play, PEÑAROL URUGUAYO's Serafin Abaunza made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pablo Errando was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Armando Abancens came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Bañitos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Abancens couldn't finish the play. After 91 played minutes Bañitos got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Orland. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Koldobika in the 92nd minute of play forced Bañitos's goalkeeper Pablo Errando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernabe Laurendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Matei having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Bañitos players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
