An unexpectedly hard shot by 陶飞银 in the 5th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Eugenio Saturnin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Máximo Policarpio kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Los eternos desconocidos's zone, Cristo Hondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Ursino came out of the goal and Cristo Hondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelio Ursino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Hondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The Boca Juniors fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Boca Juniors's Albano Abadia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aurelio Ursino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Abadia in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Los eternos desconocidos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Quilo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Los eternos desconocidos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Gurutz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes, Boca Juniors's Henrik Frohn shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aurelio Ursino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boca Juniors reached it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 陶飞银 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Saturnin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Ordono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Los eternos desconocidos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Gajardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Robert Augustyniak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Augustyniak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Ursino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eugenio Saturnin came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Los eternos desconocidos's Carolo Tomi. But to his dismay, Carolo Tomi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Eugenio Saturnin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 陶飞银 went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 陶飞银 took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio Saturnin. Eugenio Saturnin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 75th minute, 陶飞银 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Carolo Tomi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Saturnin was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 81st minute, Albano Abadia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aurelio Ursino. The goal made the score 5-2. If Robert Augustyniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Los eternos desconocidos's goal looked a bit too open when Bobi Batov came free, but Aurelio Ursino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albano Abadia took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Ursino. Aurelio Ursino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. After 94 minutes of play, Boca Juniors's Albano Abadia made it 5-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Ursino was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Los eternos desconocidos had won after a very even match.
