In the 4th match minute, Papagayos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Lizar to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Vachon during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th minute, Rafael Vachon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's Cristo Hondo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saturnino Odol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, Cristo Hondo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Saturnino Odol, 1-0. Eugenio Saturnin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Bermudo in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Loud Deeth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugenio Saturnin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Lizar in the 13th minute of play. Albano Abadia took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saturnino Odol. Saturnino Odol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A collision led to Papagayos getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Benito Guillelmo hit a great ball. Cristo Hondo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Saturnino Odol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. 22 minutes into the game, Albano Abadia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Saturnino Odol. Albano Abadia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 26 minutes into the match, Albano Abadia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saturnino Odol. Papagayos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albano Abadia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Robert Augustyniak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saturnino Odol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Augustyniak, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Boca Juniors's Albano Abadia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Saturnino Odol. That made the score 6-0 after 43 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

After 50 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Frohn. In the 68th minute, Albano Abadia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saturnino Odol was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Cristo Hondo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Eugenio Saturnin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benito Guillelmo in the 74th minute. After 78 minutes of play, Boca Juniors's Robert Augustyniak made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saturnino Odol was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the match, Albano Abadia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saturnino Odol. Papagayos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albano Abadia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Eugenio Saturnin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Etxahun, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
