An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Artaldo in the 3rd minute of play forced Sumampa FC's goalkeeper Marcial Vellito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcial Vellito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Gilabert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcial Vellito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Artaldo in the 11th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, Sumampa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Fabra to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Sumampa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Artaldo came free, but Marcial Vellito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sumampa FC booed when French FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Gilabert didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 minutes of play, French FC's Nicasio Artaldo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcial Vellito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gaspar Gilabert hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 42nd match minute, Sumampa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Fabra to maneuver through the defense. Marcial Vellito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Acuña in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wayne Rooney stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes French FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Maria. Florentino Abeijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 倪鸿渊 in the 51st minute of play. Florentino Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 倪鸿渊 in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Sumampa FC were awarded a corner. Roman Virila went to the cornerflag to take it. Sumampa FC's Roman Virila was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Florentino Abeijon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Carlos Henry came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the French FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Henry couldn't finish the play. Teobaldo Camerino kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sumampa FC's 倪鸿渊 got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute, French FC's Roque Acuña dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Sumampa FC's Gaspar Mingo was substituted for 倪鸿渊. French FC's Florentino Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Camerino in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86thth minute of the game Wayne Rooney who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but French FC's Florentino Abeijon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicasio Artaldo got free with Marcial Vellito in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florentino Abeijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wayne Rooney in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Teobaldo Camerino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sumampa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The Sumampa FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. French FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
