Amado Tirso ran back to his position shaking his head. After 19 minutes poeta fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sergio Phelipe who took care of the corner kick. In the 26th minute of the match, Amado Tirso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carlos Dalmai saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Huemul AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Tirso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amado Tirso to make the kick off. Amado Tirso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amado Tirso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Dalmai having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Aristides Dorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Pang Yin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Dalmai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pang Yin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Amado Tirso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Dalmai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amado Tirso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Carlos Dalmai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Huemul AFC's Gabi Batistuta got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pang Yin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Carlos Dalmai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venancio Lluciano charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Venancio Lluciano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for poeta fc! The referee gave Huemul AFC a penalty, 98 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sergio Phelipe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of poeta fc's Carlos Dalmai. 6-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Huemul AFC had played much better football throughout.
