The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enzo Montrelle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haroldo Garin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Montrelle in the 11th minute of play forced Corbera FC's goalkeeper Haroldo Garin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Corbera FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jacek Andryszyn hit a great ball. Haroldo Garin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Geleberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guy Bernaerts in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wojciech Skonieczny saved Black Star from getting behind. Corbera FC's Haroldo Garin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Corbera FC from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Black Star's goal looked a bit too open when Guy Bernaerts came free, but Wojciech Skonieczny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corbera FC's Haroldo Garin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Mergildo in the 34th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guy Bernaerts made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Enzo Montrelle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Star's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Montrelle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Garin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albino Bertin's late challenge caught a Black Star's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albino Bertin helped the player get up and apologised. After 57 played minutes Corbera FC got a freekick which was hit by Albino Bertin. The supporters of Corbera FC booed when Black Star was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Calvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute Guy Bernaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wojciech Skonieczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wojciech Skonieczny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guy Bernaerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Corbera FC's zone, Everardo Mergildo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Garin came out of the goal and Everardo Mergildo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Corbera FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Black Star:s goal. Corbera FC:s Haroldo Garin showed great skill when he stopped Iker Geleberto:s penalty. When Everardo Mergildo came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Black Star fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Mergildo couldn't finish the play. Wojciech Skonieczny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Ruben in the 79th minute. In the 81st match minute, Black Star was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Mergildo to maneuver through the defense. Wojciech Skonieczny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guy Bernaerts in the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Black Star's Everardo Mergildo got a free kick in the 98th minute. Corbera FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
