An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Hug in the 12th minute of play forced Cincinnati's goalkeeper Ricardo Dominguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaristo Enol's late challenge caught a MAN FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evaristo Enol helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, Cincinnati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Enol to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the game, Cederik De Roost cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ricardo Dominguez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 20 minutes of play, MAN FC's Marcelino Hug made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Dominguez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After having played for 30 minutes, Cederik De Roost managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MAN FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cederik De Roost was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelino Hug struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ricardo Dominguez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MAN FC. Cederik De Roost fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Dominguez having to interfere. When MAN FC's Cederik De Roost in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Niceto Euloxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Dominguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelian Remus in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cederik De Roost to make the kick off. Cederik De Roost took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Dominguez. Ricardo Dominguez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Cederik De Roost received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricardo Dominguez came out and tried to block the shot, but Cederik De Roost slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 59th minute. When Alvaro Honrio fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cincinnati's protests and gave Alvaro Honrio a yellow card for diving instead. Marcelino Hug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ricardo Dominguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Cederik De Roost sped through Cincinnati's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Dominguez. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariusz Kaczanka got free with Ricardo Dominguez in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute, MAN FC's Cederik De Roost ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Dominguez. Ricardo Dominguez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. In the 94th minute, MAN FC's Cederik De Roost dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-13. MAN FC played a much better game than Cincinnati and deserved their victory. The Cincinnati players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
